The evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic has offered universities many opportunities to revise and adapt their international risk management practices. In this panel discussion, four universities will describe various approaches to supporting international travel during the pandemic. One area that is particularly challenging that will be discussed includes short-term, faculty-led programs abroad.

Objectives:
+ Learn a variety of approaches to supporting international travel during the pandemic
+ Discover risk assessment strategies specific to international travel
+ Become aware of the unique challenges faced by various types of universities
+ Understand the ways in which a university’s risk tolerance level impacts decision-making for international travel
